| so yeah, on a more random (if that's possible) note, my mom called me this morning and asked me if i was still doing full-time research this semester. after several minutes of lactic acid build-up in my stomach muscles, i was forced to sto plaughing, hyperventilate, and then answer her question with a resounding "no". sorry, but i think i'd rather spend that time on more productive activities, like sleeping, making guacamole, and trying (quite unsuccessfully, i might add) to finish crossword puzzles from the "red eye". good thing i'm still such a motivated student. | | |
| annnnnnnd, in response to some negative reactions i have received from my previous rantings: [i.e. Mcjoerilla85: tara, you have completely lost your mind. your evil rant about hatred toward the uic housing authority and love for koalas had lead me to believe that there is no hope for you any longer and your super inteligent brain sees no more worthy competition in the medical field and has decided to pursue world domination instead.... can i have a job on your evil staff?], i would like to respond by saying that most of my rantings are written in a sarcastic, not evil, tone. in my head, it compares to a dave barry-like style, although i am well aware that, on paper, it does not sound nearly as composed or funny :). i'm sorry if you've gotten the wrong impression, JOE (but yes, i am accepting resumes to fill openings on my evil staff, and yours has reached the top of the pile.). | | |
